There are two distinct methods of fitting a HotFlo! sprue bush into a die block with die cavity inserts.
Method 1.Here the location hole for the hot sprue bush is machined into the die block only, and the cavity insert is separated by some distance. This is a common layout for a single cavity die. |

Method 2.In this layout the die cavity insert surrounds the sprue region. The location hole for the hot sprue bush is machined into both the die block and the cavity insert. This is more common with multi-cavity dies. |
